Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy


I. OVERVIEW & SCOPE

SAFE Rideshare, LLC, headquartered at 2933 Carver Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405, under the ownership of Dr. Kenton Edward Emmanuel Connor, has established this Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy (“EEO Policy”).

This policy applies to all aspects of the relationship between SAFE Rideshare and its employees, drivers, contractors, and applicants. It covers (but is not limited to):

  • Employment

  • Recruitment and hiring

  • Advertisements for employment

  • Compensation and benefits

  • Assignment and classification of employees

  • Promotions, transfers, and upgrading

  • Training and professional development

  • Working conditions and workplace safety

  • Disciplinary action and termination

This policy also applies to independent contractors, temporary employees, partners, and all personnel working on behalf of SAFE Rideshare, whether on company premises or through the SAFE Platform.

Any user, employee, or driver found to be in violation of this policy will be subject to corrective action, up to and including termination or deactivation from the SAFE Platform.


II. POLICIES

1. NON-DISCRIMINATION

SAFE Rideshare will not tolerate any form of discrimination, under any circumstances, against any individual on the basis of:

  • Race

  • Creed or religion

  • Color

  • Age

  • Disability

  • Pregnancy

  • Marital or parental status

  • Sexual orientation

  • Gender identity or expression

  • Veteran or military status

  • Domestic violence victim status

  • National origin

  • Political affiliation

  • Sex or gender

  • Genetic information

  • Geographic location

  • Or any other status protected by applicable law

For qualified individuals with disabilities, SAFE Rideshare will provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state law.

Discrimination in providing transportation services is strictly prohibited. Drivers and employees may not refuse service, treat passengers differently, or deny equal access based on protected traits or requested destination.

Examples of prohibited discriminatory conduct include:

  • Refusing to pick up a passenger because of a protected trait or service animal

  • Asking a passenger to leave a vehicle based on a protected trait

  • Using derogatory or harassing language

  • Refusing rides in specific neighborhoods for discriminatory reasons


2. HARASSMENT

SAFE Rideshare is committed to a work environment free from harassment. Any unwanted behavior that creates an intimidating, hostile, or humiliating work environment is strictly prohibited. This applies to verbal, non-verbal, physical, and digital interactions.


3. SEXUAL HARASSMENT

Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature are prohibited when:

  1. Submission is a condition of employment or driving privileges.

  2. Submission or rejection affects employment or platform decisions (promotion, assignment, rating, or access).

  3. Such conduct creates a hostile, intimidating, or offensive work environment.

Examples of prohibited conduct include inappropriate jokes, comments, displays of sexual content, or physical contact.


4. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION

SAFE Rideshare supports diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are committed to increasing the representation and participation of minorities, women, veterans, and people with disabilities within our workforce and driver community.


5. REPORTING DISCRIMINATION & HARASSMENT

Any employee, driver, or contractor who believes they have been discriminated against or harassed should immediately report the matter to:

Reports will be investigated promptly and addressed appropriately. Confidentiality will be maintained to the greatest extent possible.

Employees and drivers are also entitled to file complaints with relevant state or federal agencies under applicable law.


6. RETALIATION

SAFE Rideshare prohibits retaliation against any person who reports discrimination or harassment in good faith. Retaliation itself will be treated as a violation of this policy and may result in termination or permanent deactivation.


7. DISCIPLINARY MEASURES

Any individual found in violation of this policy may face disciplinary action, including but not limited to:

  • Written warning

  • Suspension or deactivation from the SAFE Platform

  • Termination of employment or contract


8. REMEDIES

Corrective remedies may include:

  • Hiring, promotion, or reinstatement

  • Back pay or front pay

  • Reasonable accommodation

  • Attorney’s fees and costs where legally required

  • Other corrective actions as deemed necessary by SAFE Rideshare or required by law


9. POLICY IMPLEMENTATION

This Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy is fully supported and enforced by SAFE Rideshare leadership.
